a day in birmingham and the incident of the strange photo...

with it being such a good day and having bee given the day off work for once, my housemate Raj decided to take me to Birmingham for the day with Daz. we loaded the sunblock and sunglasses and headed off for an adventure...

me looking about 13 here and half blind because i forgot to put my sunglasses on (the tee is one i made earlier this morning and doodled a design after being inspired by the geek glasses)

they love my glasses
Raj then threw my glasses on the grass after i pushed her over and caused her to fallwhile picking up my glasses i found this strange and slightly worrying picture of some women watching what looks like very well built nearly naked men,hmmmm......odd.

i did make one little purchase while in Birmingham (which by the way, isn't as 'ghetto' and scary as i thought before lol). this top was on my wish list so i was over the moon to pick it up while in Urban Outfitters :)

and i actually hate Sonic Youth's music, but i cant help but LOVE this tee!

ah that t-shirt is so cool. i want it.

shame you didn't get a pic with you wearing the glasses. i love wearing things which echo your accessories. nearly bought a tshirt with a squirrel (i think) wearing geek glasses just so i could wear it with mine.

yours is better anyway.

ooo the shop is hidden behind the bullring so not many people know it's there! i would print off a map but basically there's a massive duel carriage way to the left of the markets behind the bullring called digbeth road. you walk down for 5 mins past a few fabric stores, an old exercise equipment shop and a porn book shop lol. It's on the way to the coach station so ask people the way to there. Also if you go on a saturday, there's an amazing flea market in the custard factory, which is about 5 minutes walk up digbeth road from the yellow vintage store, just straight on and round a bend. i say flea market, but it's just stunning vintage in little stalls. I hope that won't drive you into debt as I'm sure you'll love those places!
