Ken gets cool

i had a Ken once, 'Shaving Fun Ken', his hair stood on end and my grandmother told me to grease it down with Vasoline.... it didnt work and for years after my poor Barbie had to date a rather trampish looking Ken much to the amusement of my friends. not good.

somehow i think owning this fantastic Ken styled by none other than Gareth Pugh would please the inner 6 year old me! got a spare £200?? then get yours here :)

Haha, that's fantastic. Ken totally wouldn't be with Barbie if he looked like that. xx

I never had a Ken, I made my brother and his Action Man play with me instead! This is a Ken I like though, not so geeky as regular Ken! Char x

I had Shaving Fun Ken too! I shaved him so much that his hair stopped growing back.
I love how old Barbies had amazing themes like Shaving Fun, or Pregnancy (with real baby!). They are SO boring now. Apart from this one that is!

Oh men I would never wanted to have a barbie like that one I was younger. For me, everything had (and still has, actually) to be pink, so such a doll wouldn't fit into my world ;)

And thank you anyway for all your lovely comments on my blog! It's not really often I encounter nother philosphy student in the blogosfeer (and besides, I did a minor in Psychology, so we seem to be connected someway). Maybe interested in a link exchange?
Well actually, I'm going to add you anyway on my little bloglist!

That's certainly something! I used to play barbies too, but I hated ken, he was such a fake, simply not good enough for THE barbie:)

and digging your blog!

keep in touch♥

you know, I still have all of my barbies in my closet. I also remember getting my ken barbie: it was my 6th birthday and dad came home from work and gave it to me. I was so happy. Were you ever obsessed with barbie shoes? A lot of girls in my class never had barbie shoes because they kept losing them and I never understood why you would lose barbie shoes as I always kept their shoes in a little box. They are the coolest. That's probably why I love shoes so much now...
